Washingborough Hall Hotel

We had our wedding at Washingborough Hall hotel earlier this year. The whole experience with them was an absolute breeze. Lucy is absolutely wonderful at what she does, and it shows. She puts you at ease when you speak to her and she’s very quick at getting back to you as well. We had several consultations with her, and we would go in with so many questions to ask, but she answered all of them before we even got a chance to ask them. We had overnight stay included for the wedding party and it made the day so much easier. They knew where to direct all the hair and makeup artists, the photographer, and also took care of cake, and flower display. We were also able to drop off the decorations, wedding favours, and the bride/bridesmaids’ dresses in advance, which made the days leading up to the big so much less stressful! The day itself went smoothly and everything was very well organised. The staff did a wonderful job with the organisations and were amazing with all the guests. The food was incredible and can’t wait to go back there again. We had such a wonderful time making use of the grounds and the beautiful gardens. We would recommend this hotel and wedding venue to everyone. They made sure we had a wonderful day and made the organising of the big day a lot less stressful.

This hotel was beautiful from the outside and had a very pleasant staff, but the rooms lack some very basic hotel amenities. No fridge, and if you're a tall person you are out of luck- twin beds and some rooms only have a bath. Quaint, beautiful, and friendly- but not necessarily for everyone. (maybe I'm just mad because I expected a fridge and had some food spoil). Charging double occupancy is also a bit archaic, I wish they had been up front about that.

Marvellous venue for our family get together to celebrate my wife's special birthday. Large rooms for all and a ground floor lodge for we two older guests. Delicious Sunday lunch and private breakfast in the snug, ably served by Violet, thank you! Waiters and waitresses were all attentive and efficient and the attractive grounds provided an enjoyable walk.

My husband and I had our wedding here in April and I cannot recommend enough. Lucy and the staff could not have been any more kind or more helpful with everything. From the day before when I stayed with my bridesmaids and had a gorgeous meal all the way through to the morning of the wedding and throughout the day we were treated like royalty. We genuinely had the most beautiful day and the set up was better than i ever imagined it could be. So a huge thank you to all at Washingborough Hall Hotel for your hospitality and incredible kindness whilst we were staying with you. Beautiful room, we even stayed another night as we loved it so much!
